位於文殊殿東壁南側。事見《大方便佛報恩經》卷一〈孝養品〉。描述過去有一大國，名波羅奈，一日，國王羅闍為奸臣羅●（目+侯）弒篡，並殺了他的二個兒子。其第三子封國邊陲，知道將被逼殺，遂攜王妃及太子須闍提踰城逃走，不幸誤入歧途，絕糧難行。追兵將至，王第三子欲殺妻，與須闍提分食其肉，遭須闍提阻止。須闍提為使父母能走出荒野至鄰國求救兵，割肉供父母食用。
此圖作鳥瞰式全景構圖，創造了以金碧界畫山水為統一構圖的經變相，打破以往經變相以說法圖為中心的形式。圖中所畫宮殿為此經變相的一部分。宮殿前方建築低矮，後方高台聳立，台上殿閣重檐歇山頂，面闊三間，周設勾欄，前方有台階。殿閣內宮女、侍吏忙碌其間；殿閣外置一祭案，案上陳列各種供品，一后妃正朝天祭拜，周圍宮女、官吏侍立。畫面中的建築錯落有致，台基高聳，斗栱、脊飾、鴟吻描繪無一不精，形成一幅精美的建築圖景。
