中國
圖中羅漢均有頭光，形象或老或少，或漢人形象，或胡貌梵相；手或籠袖，或執長柄香爐，或拄竹杖，或持金剛鈴和金剛杵。其中一尊戴風帽，或為達摩。羅漢身旁伴隨有侍者，身形較小，手或拿錫杖，或捧物，形象生動。人物衣紋線條流暢，敷色妍麗，層次分明，勾勒精謹細緻。羅漢的背景襯以山石松樹，具有南宋（1127～1279）院畫遺風。
羅漢畫內容豐富，其配置布局，大致可分為單尊和多尊兩大類。五百羅漢數目眾多，常以五尊一幅之方式呈現；此幅畫五尊羅漢，推測為五百羅漢圖之一。
