Seated Buddha

相傳為藥師佛，元代（1271～1368）作品，後傳入日本，為和歌山金剛峰寺七月七日至十三日不斷經法會供奉之本尊。
佛面相豐滿，頂現低平肉髻，雙耳垂肩。雙手置於腹前結定印，趺坐於大蓮花上。身著黑色袒右僧祇支，腰束白帶，外披紅色袈裟，衣緣和帛帶摺皺如卷雲，柔軟飄逸。圓形頭光外，隱約可見以柔和的筆墨勾染出四射光芒，形成大圓背光。色調對比鮮明，構圖別致。
