寧夏回族自治區銀川市賀蘭縣宏佛塔出土
一九九○年寧夏回族自治區銀川市賀蘭縣宏佛塔天宮出土。此二尊佛頭像極為相似，為宏佛塔天宮出土的六尊西夏（1032～1227）泥塑佛頭中保存完好者。
佛頭部肉髻低平，布滿整齊的螺髮，臉龐方圓，長眉細目，眉間有白毫。眼睛著釉料，下眼瞼處黑色淚痕係因高溫導致釉料滴流。佛鼻梁高直，鼻翼小巧，嘴角含笑，唇上方有墨線畫出的髭鬚，下頦處描繪出日、月、雲紋裝飾。雙耳長垂往外略撇。神情安靜肅穆，表現出佛陀沉思內省的心境。
此像塑造標準，具有一定形式，面相特徵頗具唐代（618～907）遺風。
