Xi’an: Heavenly King
天王像
陝西省西安市長安大學出土
一九八三年陝西省西安市南郊長安大學出土。此二天王像原應供奉於佛教寺院，是相對的兩尊造像。
天王髮髻高束，臉形方圓，渾厚飽滿，橫眉怒目，唇髭微翹，為西域胡人特點。身著裲襠甲、明光鎧，鎧甲上陽刻花紋利落，肩繫方巾，雙臂飾獸頭吞口，一手叉腰，一手屈肘豎起，齊腕處損毀。一腿微屈，一腿直立，雙足各踩邪鬼，威風凜凜。另一天王戴頭盔，張口瞠目，形象生動。二天王原均施有彩繪，現已脫落。
