獅面空行母原為西藏苯教神靈，相傳被蓮花生大士降伏，納入藏傳佛教，為獅子頭形象的女性護法神。
此像造於十七世紀。紅色頭髮如火焰般上揚，戴五骷髏冠，三目圓睜，張口似吼，披掛骷髏鬘。袒上身，左手持嘎巴拉碗，右手持鉞刀，右足抬起，舞立於一仰臥男屍身上。
