Chengde Eight Outlying Temples: Vaisravana

毗沙門天王，即多聞天王，為四天王之一，守護北方，在藏傳佛教中多將之視為財寶神供奉，因其身色金黃，故又稱為黃財神。其圖像特徵是騎獅，手中持傘，袒腹，左手抱一隻碩大的銀鼠，鼠的口中吐出串串寶珠，象徵財富滾滾。這種袒腹的黃財神源於古代印度財神。
此像為十八世紀作品，袒腹坐於回首低吼的獅身上，右手上舉，原持傘已佚，左手置於膝上，原抱吐寶獸已佚。身上披掛項鍊，鑲嵌寶石，身後的大背光為大團花形，鎏金明亮，華麗富貴。
