此像端立於覆蓮台上，其下為四足方台，台框刻銘文。佛作高肉髻，眉目清秀，表情恬靜，瘦頸削肩，身軀修美，具溫文儒雅的姿態。身著褒衣博帶式袈裟，褶紋均衡對稱，刻劃深入，下襬如燕尾的翹角向外展開，表現衣袍質輕，逆風而行的動態之美。蓮瓣形大背光外層線刻火焰紋，均勻細密，內層頭光、身光相連，雕飾多重同心圓圈。造型簡潔，形象生動，富有神韻。背光中央兩側鑿有方孔，推測此造像原有脇侍菩薩。佛像、背光及四足方台皆是個別鑄造再組合而成。
四足方台有發願文「孝昌二年（526）六月□□清信士佛弟子□□為亡父造像一軀願願從心所願如是」。
