千手千眼觀音菩薩像

甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。觀音結跏趺坐於蓮座上，蓮座被寶池中升起的螺旋狀雲朵托起。菩薩帶彩色波浪紋頭光，戴化佛寶冠，主要的四十二隻手或結印或執蓮花、淨瓶、鉢、三叉戟等法器，周圍千手千眼形成圓形大背光。
寶池以彩色琉璃磚砌成，內繪蓮花。池兩側有男、女供養人，各有空白榜題。男供養人殘損嚴重，現僅見膝部；女供養人雙手托花盤，跪於毯上，方毯重疊鋪於寶池邊。從女供養人的髮飾可判斷此圖繪於五代（907～960）時期。
作品設色較薄，顏料脫落嚴重，四十二隻手因顏料脫落的關係而顯露底層的起稿墨線，在視覺上更添千手繁複交錯之感。
