九面六臂觀音菩薩及善惡童子像

甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。繪製於十世紀。雖畫於紙上，卻模仿絹畫裝裱，於圖四邊加綴四瓣黃花的橙色細框，上、下端再黏上布滿深藍色團花的灰色邊飾。圖中央繪一尊九面六臂觀音立像，兩側為善、惡童子，榜題分別為「南无救苦觀世音菩薩」、「南无善童子」、「南无惡童子」。
觀音立於從綠色水池升起的蓮台上，水池中繪有一隻白鳥。其後有八株竹子，綠幹藍葉。主二手於胸前結印，拈柳枝、紅蓮；上二手托日輪和月輪；下二手分執紅蓮和淨瓶。綠色帔帛規整地交繞於臂上。觀音的雙眉、髭鬚先以墨線繪出，再以綠色重疊塗染。華蓋上緣飾五個火焰寶珠，懸掛流蘇及珠串。分立觀音兩側的善、惡童子，裝扮幾乎一致，只是持物不同；善童子豎握紙卷，惡童子則捧持紅緞包裹著的紙卷。
