甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。九世紀下半葉之作。紅底絹帛上，用銀泥以熟練的線描畫出菩薩動態，占滿整個畫面。觀音佇立於蓮台上，頭光簡略地繪三圈光輪，頂戴化佛寶冠，臉形圓滿，頸有三道紋。佩戴項圈、腕釧，斜披絡腋，瓔珞交垂於胸前，帔帛繞臂飄垂，長裙衣紋分別在兩腿呈現「U」形。左手在肩前揚掌，右手垂於身側。榜題墨書「南无救苦觀音」。
