甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。此殘片為佛說法圖或淨土圖的一部分。畫面上部可見千佛九尊，分上下二排；下方繡著花葉及飾有帷幔的華蓋，絲絲分明，另可見部分青色的佛背光。
千佛均有圓形頭光及背光，結跏趺坐於蓮座上，披紅色或暗青色袈裟，顏色交錯排列；頭光及背光的色彩亦交互搭配，令構圖簡樸的千佛畫面生動活潑。刺繡色澤已褪，但可見冷暖色系交替變化，層式漸進。
此圖製作於九世紀下半葉至十世紀上半葉。同類繪繡結合的作品存世不多，愈顯珍貴。
