蓮上五菩薩圖
甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土
甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。從作品的黑邊推知是長幡的一部分，上、下皆已缺損，然色彩卻保存完好，正反兩面同樣設色，為九世紀作品。
畫面下方可見紅色欄楯，欄楯之上繪五朵紅蓮，其中二朵為仰覆蓮，餘皆為覆蓮。蓮上各坐一菩薩，姿態、印相均不同。五菩薩的白毫、嘴唇點朱紅色，額際、面頰亦採用紅色暈染。圖中以蓮花莖葉穿插聯繫於空白處，使得布局顯得飽滿，又井然有序。
