引路菩薩圖
甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土
甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。引路菩薩足踏雙蓮，引導身後發願往生淨土的亡者。菩薩雙手持彎曲細長的蓮莖以代替幡竿。蓮花在頂上盛開，蓮萼下所繫的幡隨風飄揚。菩薩及亡者足下描繪雲氣，雲氣由圖右上方自遠而近飄至前方，象徵引路菩薩引導亡者前往淨土世界。圖上方繪一座座象徵淨土世界的小宮殿。
敦煌出土的引路菩薩絹畫一般沒有榜題，然此圖左上角題有「觀音引路菩薩壹軀」，右上角則記載著女供養人的姓氏。
