Tokyo Bay: Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva
東京灣觀音菩薩像

位於日本千葉縣富津市南房總國定公園之大坪山山頂，海拔高120公尺處，面向東京灣。像高56公尺，內部有二十層樓，三百二十四級階梯。昭和三十六年（1961）由木商宇佐美政衛為慰藉全世界戰歿者，及祈願世界和平而建造。此觀音像之圖樣出自名雕刻家長谷川昴之手。
菩薩頭戴高寶冠，寶冠正面飾化佛坐像，繒帶垂掛雙肩。面相豐圓，神情靜謐。身著大衣，飄帶長垂體側，雙手捧護寶珠，作賜予世人幸福的姿態。
此觀音像入口在腳跟，內設圓形中心柱，四周設螺旋式階梯可徒步攀登而上，到達十五層，約為菩薩肩部；之後改由盤繞中心柱的梯子直上頂部，空間遽然變小，寬度僅容一人通過。像內供奉佛像和七福神，供眾禮拜，並闢有小窗，作遠眺戶外景物用。
