此像髮髻高聳，戴塔狀寶冠，頂結摩尼寶珠，冠帶於耳際呈扇形樣式。臉形略方，細眉斂目，神色怡然。戴項圈、臂釧，以簡潔的陰線在胸、臂等處，表現極薄的天衣。耳璫奇大，長鍊自左肩垂下，環腰繞至臍下，復纏雙足。帛帶自雙臂下垂，至蓮座反轉飛起。左手當胸持經書，右手握舉的利劍橫於腦後，結跏趺坐於仰覆蓮座。蓮座上下緣略微凸出，蓮瓣平扁，錯落平接，束腰不明顯。整體造像具早期西藏西部本土佛像的造型特點。
