內蒙古自治區阿拉善盟額濟納旗黑水城出土。為十二世紀上半葉作品。阿彌陀佛足踏雙蓮，左手施無畏印，右手作與願印，眉間白毫宛轉射出一道白光照覆往生者，表現佛接引之勢。頂上華蓋以白雲包覆，綴飾搖曳。往生者為一對夫妻，男者持長柄香爐，髮型是遵照西夏景宗李元昊（1032～1048在位）發布的禿髮令之樣式而繪；女者雙手合十，髮髻高綰，從服飾來看，二者極有可能為貴族。
佛輪廓以紅色線勾描，膚色原先塗有金泥，現金泥多已脫落。紅色袈裟可見金泥描繪的蓮花紋，下襬則繪有寶相花紋。全圖洋溢著寧靜莊嚴的氣氛，畫風洗練，表現出宋代（960～1279）繪畫風格。
