金沙寺僧

佚名。生卒年不詳。明代（1368～1644）陶藝家。約活動於成化（1465～1487）至弘治（1465～1505）年間。金沙寺位於江蘇宜興湖●（江-工+父）山間，湖●（江-工+父）鎮西南隅，為唐相陸希賢之山房。明代周高起於《陽羨茗壺系》創始緣起提及，「金沙寺僧，久而逸其名矣，聞之陶家云，僧閒靜有致，習與陶缸甕者處。」得知該寺僧人與當地陶缸甕者研習，傳得製陶技法，並以細土為胎，揉塑成型，入陶穴燒製。其器型規整而圓，壺身中空，並附壺口、柄及蓋，供人使用，流傳於世，被稱為紫砂壺始創者。另《陽羨名陶錄》中亦有相似的記載。
