覺隱本誠
禪僧 書畫家 書法 繪畫 詩人
別名道元，字覺隱，別號輔成山人、大同山翁、凝始子、蜀畤坾公等。生卒年不詳。元代（1271～1368）禪僧、書畫家、詩人。嘉禾語溪（今浙江桐鄉）人。元僧四隱之一，嗣法於虛谷希陵禪師，品格高潔。著有《凝始子集》、《性學指要》。
詩、書、畫俱工，尤擅草書，得僧懷素法，宏偉奔放。花卉、翎毛、竹石，富灑脫不羈之韻味。山水學僧巨然，又似米友仁、方從義，奇峰白雪，千變萬化，空靈中見厚實。傳世書跡有《吳江長橋歌》；傳世畫跡有詩畫三段合卷。
