生卒年不詳。北宋（960～1127）木刻版畫匠師。甘肅敦煌莫高窟第17窟出土的一件大隨求陀羅尼經咒圖，圖下方刊刻題記「大隨求陀羅尼……太平興國五／年（980）六月二十五日雕板畢手記」，說明持此咒之功德利益及雕板時間。經咒以梵文按同心圓圍繞而成圓輪，圓心為八臂菩薩坐像。經輪左右兩側刊刻「王文沼雕板」、「施主李知順」，得知雕造者為王文沼，供養人為李知順。
整件作品雕工精美，運刀果斷穩健，造型結構縝密嚴謹，是北宋雕版精品，藏英國倫敦大英博物館。
