釋居寧
常州 畫家、僧人 繪畫
生卒年不詳。北宋（960～1127）僧、畫家。毗陵（今江蘇常州）人。初習儒學，人品高潔。後為僧，修禪法。嘗以水墨作畫，所繪草蟲不拘泥於形似，甚至長達四五寸，形狀神俊俏皮，筆力雄厚奇巧，顯得妙趣橫生，並自題「居寧醉筆」，為北宋後期禪林墨戲之先聲。《圖畫見聞志》評其畫曰：「雖傷大而失真，然則筆力勁俊，可謂稀奇。」
《宣和畫譜》著錄其作品草蟲圖。《圖繪寶鑑》亦見其畫跡著錄。
