趙元儼
畫家 繪畫 書法
生年不詳，一說生於九八五年；卒於一○四四年。北宋（960～1127）書畫家。宋太宗（976～997在位）第八子，德高望重，人稱八大王、八賢王，死後追封燕王（燕恭肅王）。
擅畫翎毛、人物，喜讀書，嗜藏書，好文詞，書法學王羲之、王獻之，工飛白。曾繪製十六羅漢圖底稿，請蜀（今四川）人尹質描染，風格奇絕，世所罕見。畫跡著錄於《圖畫見聞志》，讚云：「天縱多能，精於像物」，並稱譽其鶴竹圖「雪毛丹頂，傳警露之姿；翠葉霜筠，盡含烟之態」。
