僧人 詩人 畫家
生年不詳，一說生於九六五年；卒於一○一七年。北宋（960～1127）僧、畫家、詩人。淮南（今安徽淮南）人，一說為建陽（今福建建陽）人，另一說為長沙（今湖南長沙）人。
能詩善畫。詩以五言為佳，被列入北宋九詩僧之一。善畫山水，工鵝雁鷺鷥。其山水以小景著稱，師法僧巨然。善作寒林遠渚之景，具有瀟灑虛曠之意，開創北宋山水畫之新風貌，世稱「惠崇小景」。師心境清淨圓明，所作之畫瀟灑脫俗，一塵不染。詩人沈括、蘇軾、黃庭堅、王安石等，皆曾為其畫作題詩。
傳世作品有秋浦雙鴛圖、溪山春曉圖，藏臺灣臺北故宮博物院；沙汀煙樹圖，藏遼寧瀋陽遼寧省博物館。
