王起同造觀音菩薩像

河北省保定市曲陽縣修德寺遺址出土。菩薩頭戴葉狀花鬘冠，面相方圓，表情莊嚴慈祥。頭略向前伸，頸部細長，溜肩，腹部微凸，帔帛於膝前呈雙「U」形交叉。衣紋重疊厚重，表現北魏（386～534）褒衣博帶的造像風格。該像帶蓮花紋頭光，身後蓮瓣形背光飾刻火焰紋，立於圓形蓮台上，底部為素面方形台座。
台座背後刻有銘文「真王五年（529）／佛弟子王起／同造觀世音／像一區上為／皇帝國主七世父母現前／居家眷屬、邊（遍）地眾生離苦／得樂行如菩／薩得道成佛」。真王五年推算即永安二年，屬北魏晚期所造的白石觀世音菩薩像。
