復冒善甫居士書 釋印光

為淨土宗高僧印光復與冒善甫居士之信札，先言不應在意於晚年才知佛義，當認真生信發願精進修持；並說明印光為其取法名「志錫」的由來，言修持佛法不僅利益自身，且澤及家人，勸其向佛的殷切與期許。
此信札點畫厚重，字架寬綽，雖無書家書寫之精到，但字字清楚，樸拙寬厚，如親長面囑叮嚀，言詞懇切，是其書札可貴之處。
參考釋文：佛為大醫王能治人身心及生死等病／汝年已七十一歲惜昔年未知佛法之／所以然今幸知之亦不必以遲聞為歉但／當認真生信發願念佛求生西方切不／可求人天福報須知佛開念佛法門／唯期一切眾生現生即生淨土若人順從／佛言以修必能仗佛慈力往生西方校比／生人天大福大貴處尚容易何也以依／佛言教佛必垂慈加被故也今為汝取法／名為志錫謂自己諸惡莫作眾善奉／行一心念佛求生西方復以此化其家中眷／屬并及鄉黨朋友及一切相識之人俾彼等／均知佛所說之念佛法門使彼等生死大／病從此生即完全了脫如詩所謂孝子不／遺永錫爾類汝能以此法自行化他即是
