大目犍連變文 楊願受

由末卷題識可知，此卷成於北宋太平興國二年（977），為楊願受發願書寫，內容為「大目犍連變文」。故事源於《盂蘭盆經》，敘述佛陀的大弟子目犍連因不忍其母墮餓鬼道受倒懸之苦，乃問法於佛，佛示七月十五日眾僧自恣日，用百味飯食供養十方佛僧，即可令其母脫離苦難。楊願受抄寫此經，期能使人不墮入三途惡道。
此卷書寫程度不高，大抵略知點畫結構，故其架構仍可見書寫者盡力周正的狀況，細看其點畫轉折，亦知照應波挑提按。由此可知，是卷品質雖不佳，但能見書寫者的一片誠心。
參考釋文：太平興國二年歲在丁丑潤六月五日顯德寺學仕郎楊願受一人思惟／發願作福寫盡此目連變一卷後同釋迦牟尼佛壹會彌勒生作佛／為定 後有眾生同發信心寫盡目連變者同此願力莫墮三途
