Qinglian Lower Temple South Hall: Heavenly King

青蓮寺下寺天王像

位於南殿佛壇左側。天王頭戴盔,外披綠色輕便戰袍,無護具,與一般常見的天王戴盔披甲不同。右手上舉,左手置於腰側,因雙手略有損毀,原持武器不詳。面相方圓,皺眉,雙目微睜,嘴角下垂,神情英武。雖無激烈動勢,但透過威嚴的神情氣度,更顯其內在的深沉和力量,表現天王護法「擎山持杵遍虛空界」之勢。該像造型比例準確,是唐代(618~907)天王造像佳作之一。
