合川淶灘石窟第2號釋迦牟尼佛說法圖
重慶合川
位於北崖東端。北崖壁面寬24.5公尺，高14.6公尺，東端正壁以釋迦大佛為主尊造像，圓雕貼壁。佛面部豐圓，右手上舉施說法印，左手撫膝。著雙領下垂式袈裟，衣褶流暢，雕鏤精細。
佛像後壁浮雕千佛，實有九百四十六尊。佛身左右侍立十地菩薩及善財和龍女，佛膝左右肅立雙手合十的迦葉和阿難。善財袒上身，帔帛繞肩，下著長裙，雙手合十，躬身側向佛，項後有圓形頭光，身後刻祥雲。龍女面相豐腴，袒上身，帔帛繞肩，下著長裙，項後有圓形頭光，身後及腳下刻祥雲。壁面鐫題「寺僧了一捨財命工鐫造」和「寺僧紹昌捨命鐫造」二句。龍女頭部上方存有明崇禎十三年（1640）為釋迦牟尼佛妝金題記一則。
