Wanfo Temple: Pair of Standing Bodhisattvas (back)
雙菩薩造像碑
四川省成都市萬佛寺遺址出土
一九五四年四川省成都市萬佛寺遺址出土。碑上部已損壞，中段斷裂，主尊二菩薩頭部亦佚失，右邊的菩薩毀損，無法從身相、持物中辨識其尊號。二菩薩分立於連枝二蓮台上，左邊菩薩右手持類似麈尾法物，左手舉於胸前，右腳微提，似行走狀。主尊兩側各浮雕二身脇侍，寶冠上飾化佛，表情姿態皆異。碑下部左右各一天王，桃形頭光，手執法器。二護法獅一俯地，一回首張望。碑座中央有博山形香爐，兩旁有歌舞伎樂供養人。碑陰淺浮雕淨土變相，山石綿延，畫面緊湊連貫，建構出佛國莊嚴富麗的場景。
整體碑像造型生動寫實，線條流暢飄逸，造像左右對稱但姿態全然迥異，不同於傳統多尊造像的構圖，刻工精細，內容豐富，極富巧思。
