日本和歌山縣那智勝浦町那智山經塚出土
日本和歌山縣那智勝浦町那智山經塚出土。為日本現存佛像遺品中年代最早的十一面觀音像，約鑄造於七世紀末。一般認為此造像是依據日僧道昭入唐（618～907）留學師事玄奘歸國後，攜回北周（557～581）耶舍崛多譯《佛說十一面觀世音神咒經》經文所作。
菩薩身軀修長，左手握淨瓶，跣足立於覆蓮瓣束腰圓台上。面相方圓，眉目細長，鼻小，五官清秀。頸長肩削，身著帔巾，帔帛垂掛臂間，直幅長至圓台邊側，再橫出台座外，狀似飛翼。頸佩項圈，圓珠垂掛胸前，細緻珠串自雙肩垂下，於腹前與下身珠串相連。體型嬌小，姿態優雅，表現當時的金工技術。
