印度北方邦秣菟羅恰勿帕羅出土
印度北方邦秣菟羅恰勿帕羅（Chaubara, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh）出土，為貴霜王朝（約1〜3世紀）典型的佛陀頭部造像。
佛頭部剃髮，頭頂有卷貝形的肉髻，其上刻有表現毛髮的細線。臉形方圓，面頰飽滿，眉毛以舒緩的弓形隆線表示。眉間的小圓窪，當初應為嵌有寶石的白毫。眼睛全睜，下唇尤其豐厚，嘴角上翹，浮現較不合乎自然、不生動的古風式微笑。除鼻子殘缺外，其他部分保存相對完好。兩耳略有缺損，但仍可見耳垂變長的傾向。由頭部的尺寸比例判斷，原像應為一尊巨大的佛立像。
