Sarnath: Buddha and Attendants

佛三尊像
印度北方邦鹿野苑遺址出土
印度北方邦瓦拉那西（Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh）鹿野苑（Sarnath）出土。佛與二脇侍分別立於三朵蓮花上，其後背屏頂部呈半圓形，左右各有一尊飛天。佛高肉髻，螺髮整齊，眼瞼低垂。著通肩袈裟，左手握衣角，右手舉於身側施無畏印，指間有縵網相。衣紋刻劃輕薄，緊密貼身，沒有腰帶，亦無繫結，一塊布從右邊卷到左邊，以左手握著衣緣，沒有任何褶紋，表現幾乎透明的佛衣形式，為笈多王朝（約320～550）鹿野苑佛像衣飾的特點。
