印度安得拉邦（Andhra Pradesh）阿瑪拉瓦提遺址（Amaravati）出土。原為圍欄笠石上的裝飾浮雕。
圖右下角雕一摩竭魚，正張口吐出粗壯的波狀花環，由右腿前屈，左腿後撐的藥叉擔起。圖左側另有三名藥叉在花環上翩翩起舞。
此圖案起源於希臘化的羅馬藝術，多見於犍陀羅作品。摩竭魚的口如鱷魚，但卻具大象的耳朵與長鼻特徵，也有似魚的尾巴，是綜合自然動物造型而產生的靈獸，常見於早期佛塔。在桑奇與巴爾胡特的佛塔欄柱上，有許多此類動物與花環、蓮花紋結合的裝飾。
