印度中央邦阿拉哈巴德瑟德納縣巴爾胡特遺址出土
印度中央邦阿拉哈巴德瑟德納縣（Satna, Allahabad, Madhya Pradesh）巴爾胡特遺址（Bharhut）出土。原為佛塔圍欄隅柱側面浮雕。龍王頂戴頭巾，花紋精緻，在上部纏成一個圓球，由五頭眼鏡蛇構成。佩戴耳環、項圈、臂釧、手鐲等華麗飾物。
雕像直立於岩石之上，身材扁平，四肢轉折生硬，合掌的雙手以正面刻劃右手背，兩腳掌外展而立，這種不合乎自然寫實的作風，顯示當時的匠師尚未有三度空間立體的概念，反而形成此時期人物造像質樸稚拙的特徵，同時也是典型印度古風式雕像。
