印度安得拉邦龍樹丘遺址出土
印度安得拉邦（Andhra Pradesh）龍樹丘遺址（Nagarjunakonda）出土。該遺址出土的圓雕佛像有十件左右，另外還有幾件僅剩頭部的殘像。龍樹丘的佛像繼承阿瑪拉瓦提佛像的造像傳統，多為身著偏袒右肩袈裟的立像，面部則較阿瑪拉瓦提佛像更為沉穩。
此像肩部以下已佚失，頭部則保存完好。以佛頭尺寸推斷，原像應比真人更為高大。佛肉髻緩緩隆起，較為低平，螺髮右旋，為佛三十二相之一。身毛右旋相，顯現南印度佛像共通特徵。面容狹長橢圓，弓眉秀目，直鼻，下唇豐厚，眉間白毫以浮雕的圓形點表示。耳朵較小，頸部較粗。整體形象端莊、沉靜。
