Ishiidera Temple: Medicine Buddha Triad

此作品傳為藥師佛三尊像，雕造於七世紀下半葉，為日本現存石佛中年代最早之遺例，現為日本重要文化財。由近乎三角形的硬砂岩整塊石材，以半浮雕技法雕鑿而成。主尊像高約63公分，左右為形式相同的合掌二脇侍菩薩立像，像高58公分，因置於堂內，部分色彩保存完好。
三尊像均跣足踏於單瓣蓮花台座上，圓潤的童顏，衣薄貼體，襞褶重疊，具白鳳時代（645～710）雕刻之特色。主尊像垂放雙足、敞開雙膝倚坐，手結定印。身著袈裟，偏袒右肩，頂上垂飾華蓋及連接背光之椅座部分，表現出遠近的視覺效果而受矚目。二脇侍戴頸飾、臂釧和腕釧，帔帛從雙肩飄垂體側，右脇侍腳邊擺置淨瓶。主尊與右脇侍皆帶二重頭光，左脇侍為單層圓形頭光。
