大隨求菩薩像

大隨求菩薩為觀音菩薩之化身，是密教胎藏界曼荼羅蓮華部院中之一尊，隨眾生之願求而施予救濟、增長福德，滿眾生之願，故稱為大隨求。日本平安時代（794～1185）以後，尤其是求子靈驗，廣受信仰。此類造像甚少以單尊的雕刻或繪畫出現，此像為鎌倉時代（1185～1333）珍貴遺品。一八九九年指定為日本重要文化財。
圖中大隨求菩薩身處大月輪中，趺坐於白蓮座上。頭戴華麗寶冠，寶冠中有一化佛，胸前佩戴瓔珞、垂掛飾物。八臂各持法器，右手分持五股杵、鎊鉾、寶劍、鉞斧鉤，左手持蓮花、梵篋、寶幢、●（上四+下絹）索等。身呈深黃色，頭光、身光周緣均飾以紅色火焰紋，與白色大月輪形成鮮明對比。
