Sambas: Four-Armed Bodhisattva

四臂菩薩像
印尼西加里曼丹省桑巴斯出土
印尼西加里曼丹省桑巴斯（Sambas, West Kalimantan）出土。此像以金和銀兩種材質製造，菩薩作一面四臂相，身形圓潤健碩。面形方圓，現白毫相。頭綰高髮髻，長髮分數綹垂肩。戴寶冠，上刻一化佛，頂飾火焰紋。身後帶圓形鏤空頭光和橢圓形背光，背光邊緣飾火焰紋，頂端裝飾紅寶石。
袒上身，斜披絡腋，腰際繫寬邊腰帶，邊緣皺褶細膩如花邊。下身著長裙，上淺刻簡單的花紋。前二手右臂下垂作與願印，左手輕拈蓮花；後二手右持念珠，左握經卷。雙足扁平，挺立於束腰台座上。台座樣式古樸稚拙，上有扁平的圓台，邊緣未經刻意雕琢，下方巨大的仰覆蓮瓣線條簡單概括。
