Janggoksa Temple Upper Great Hero Hall: Vairocana Buddha (detail)
長谷寺毗盧遮那佛坐像
韓國
位於韓國忠清南道青陽郡大峙面長谷里長谷寺上大雄殿。此像為高麗（918～1392）前期完成，為研究當時佛像樣式及材質之珍貴資料。一九六三年指定為韓國寶物第174號。
佛雙手作智拳印，結跏趺坐於高大的石燈台座上。臉龐渾圓，額頭較窄，眉毛長，眼睛細長，鼻子為後來補上，嘴巴小，厚塗胡粉（白粉），使臉龐等細小部分較不明顯。身著偏袒右肩袈裟，隆起的衣紋線條流暢。上身較短，造型方正，胸部與腹部平板，不僅肩膀呈水平，腰部與胸部也呈一直線毫無屈曲，顯現出端正的特色。結跏趺坐的兩膝之間與身軀大小相比頗寬。木造背光製於朝鮮時期（1392～1910）。
