此圖出自七十摺頁的佛傳繪本，為緬甸貢榜王朝（Konbaung，1752～1885）時期之作，每頁高48公分，寬19公分。圖以兩頁的畫面描繪佛陀至忉利天宮為生母摩耶夫人說法三個月後，天眾以金、銀、琉璃砌成三道寶梯，護送其返回人間的情景，為佛傳中廣受歡迎的題材。
圖中三道寶梯從左上至右下徐徐下降。佛陀身著袒右袈裟，足踏蓮台，立於中央以紅色琉璃砌成的天梯上。左臂向前伸出，似在呼應跪於前方迎接的人間比丘。佛身後有戴寶冠的送行天眾，為首四位分執寶蓋、樂器、拂塵和蒲扇，餘者皆雙手合十，分別跪於兩側之金梯、銀梯上。
背景繪山巒、樹木、城牆、列柱、大海等，賦色鮮明，使畫面更顯豐富。繪本中的佛像皆足踏蓮台、敷金，每幅圖下方書有緬文。
