位於臺灣臺北市萬華區艋舺龍山寺正殿（圓通寶殿）。此尊觀音像於清乾隆三年（1738）由福建省泉州市晉江安海龍山寺恭迎來臺，第二次世界大戰（1939～1945）末，殿堂遭戰火轟炸，建築物、供像及法器均被摧毀殆盡，但主尊觀音像卻奇蹟般地幸存，因此香火鼎盛，聲名遠播。
觀音頂上有化佛冠，冠上覆頭巾，頭巾垂覆及肩，與新超峰寺白衣觀音像相類似，其造型可上溯至宋代（960～1279）觀音式樣。觀音雙目垂視，細眉彎曲，面呈橢圓形，顯示其慈悲圓滿。身披寬袖袍服，前胸瓔珞鑲嵌紅綠寶石。右手上舉結印，左手橫置持經卷。結跏趺坐，身姿英挺，威儀具足，表現了定力與智慧。頭光以聯珠紋和火焰紋為裝飾，係清代（1644～1911）中晚期臺灣觀音造像的特色。
