送子觀音菩薩像

菩薩雙手捧一童子，童子右手持筆，左手握元寶。送子觀音的典故可見於《妙法蓮華經》卷七〈觀世音菩薩普門品〉，反映民間求子的願望，且童子手中的元寶和筆，更直接表達時人對仕進和財富的熱切關注。
菩薩戴化佛寶冠，頭披風帽，風帽外刻飾雲龍紋，沿邊飾花卉紋，是明代（1368～1644）常見的樣式。臉形略長，胸前佩細長瓔珞，坐姿直挺，上身平板，肌肉質感硬。下著長裙，遮蓋腰、腹，結跏趺的雙腿只看得出膝蓋轉折，不見細部刻劃，正是明代造像的特徵。菩薩臉部及身上多處鎏金脫落。
該像與蓮座可分離，蓮座高28公分，由六角基座、圓柱及蓮座套組而成。蓮座內部中空，外由層層小蓮瓣組合而成；六角基座上面作起伏的水紋，意寓菩薩坐於水中蓮花之上。
