菩薩頭戴化佛高冠，冠帶打結凸出，大角度轉折後下垂。臉圓，五官分布平均，嘴形平直。帔帛垂於腿後，繞在手臂刻意形成扁扁一環，再垂落身側。正面線條複雜而重疊，上身斜披厚重的絡腋，硬挺挺地貼著。下身長裙至少重疊四層，身前的瓔珞有聯珠式及繩編式，壓在繁複的裙上，腰繫大蝴蝶結，生硬的質感，誇張的造型，加上繁瑣的細節，形成一種粗糙的厚重感，是晚唐（846～907）造像常見的風格。
菩薩右手持物已失，左手持淨瓶，雙足直立，身體的中心線呈「ㄑ」形，站姿誇張。背面有兩處插榫，背面中央開一方孔。該像鎏金磨損。其冠飾由兩對卷草紋組成，是晚唐常見樣式，宋代（960～1279）和遼代（907～1125）仍延續此種款式。
