此尼泊爾造像鎏金局部脫落，背部上方殘留一插柄的痕跡。菩薩冠上飾一塔，故知此尊像當為彌勒菩薩。
菩薩作立姿，右手拇指與食指微捻，掌心向前，左手持淨瓶，瓶頸已斷缺。頭部比例偏大，髮髻高，髮辮紋理清晰，中央一小龕，龕內有一小塔，塔龕連三股瓔珞裝飾。肩部披一獸首，胸前聖線長及膝部。腰細微屈，下身著貼體薄裙，裙襬外展，邊緣成褶；腰下橫披帛帶，末端飄揚於身側，隨著身體重心的移轉顯得婀娜多姿。
此尊像衣服的形式、微扭的動感和結實的肌理承襲印度笈多王朝（約320～550）的藝術風格，肩部的裝飾、方圓的臉形和瓔珞的樣式則為尼泊爾當地的樣式。
