Incense Burner with Lion Lid

青瓷獅蓋香爐

韓國高麗時期（918～1392）佛教供具。據中國宋代（960～1279）徐兢著《宣和奉使高麗圖經》陶爐條所記載：「狻猊出香亦翡色也，上有蹲獸，下有仰蓮以承之，諸器惟此物最精絕」，可知此香爐為高麗青瓷珍品之一。一九六二年指定為韓國國寶第60號。
香爐由獸面三足、爐身及坐獅爐蓋組成。爐身呈圓筒形，深腹平底，表面飾如波濤的三重雲紋帶，口沿寬大，爐面亦飾雲紋。爐蓋上之坐獅，筋肉和鬃毛均施有纖細的陰刻線，表情威凜生動；其內部穿孔，香煙經蓋孔和獅子身軀，由獅口裊裊飄出。釉胎帶有淡綠色，並施加灰青色釉，厚塗部分呈濃綠色，深富光澤。
