Bodhisattva in Contemplation

思惟菩薩半跏像

據出土文物得知，三國時期（57 BCE～668）新羅國領域內，不僅慶州，在全域皆分布有思惟半跏像，直至統一新羅（668～935）初期，被作為禮拜對象。
此像身軀修長，頭戴寶冠，臉部朝下。右手輕置右膝上，掌心托住下巴，右足置於左膝蓋上，左足垂下，呈沉思狀，姿態自然。上身平直，手臂細長，無細部變化。衣裳下襬的褶紋予人古拙之感，顯示新羅時期（57 BCE～935）的特徵。
