彌勒下生經變相
甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土
甘肅省酒泉市敦煌市莫高窟第17窟出土。依據《彌勒下生經》繪製。由三十餘個殘片組成，內容繪有菩薩、天王、伎樂天、樂器等，另有農耕圖、夜叉灑掃、一種七收、婆羅門拆寶台、王宮貴族剃度出家等場景。其中婆羅門拆寶台的場景幾乎完整地保留下來。此圖表現儴佉王供養彌勒佛寶台，佛接受後施諸婆羅門，婆羅門將之拆解共分；以此拆解寶台之無常因緣，度儴佉王及王宮貴族出家。此題材同見於莫高窟第445窟壁畫，然此圖將寶台改繪在大車之上，可能是當時敦煌地區曾出現將木構建築置於車上遊行的緣故。
作品人物、建築先以墨線描出後敷色，人物穿著、髮式為盛唐（712～756）樣式。
