此印白文七字，屬多字印，分布三行。全印一眼望之，鮮明的紅色居中，非常耀眼，字體安排都技巧性的貼近印邊，使得小塊及細碎的紅點分布印面四周，作者極富巧思，慧眼獨具。所用刀工穩健，似澀刀入印，印文厚實。全印簡潔靜穆，風格淡雅。
慧壽俗姓萬，名壽祺，字年少，明崇禎（1628～1644）舉人。入清（1644～1911）為僧，法名慧壽，號明治道人，世稱壽道人。江蘇徐州人。工詩文、書畫、篆刻。周亮工於《印人傳》讚歎其：「自作玉石章，皆俯視文何。所蓄晶玉凍石諸章，皆自為部署，一一精好，非世間恆有。」
