海闊能容物蓮心不受污 朱簡

中國

「海闊能容物蓮心不受污」,象徵修行者應有大海包容萬物的胸襟,及蓮花處於污泥卻不受染污的清淨心。
 此印字重漢韻筆法,運用盤曲的篆法布局,更創用短刀碎切,特顯刀意,因此筆意亦帶有刀意,相映成趣,呈現簡潔利落的風貌。
 朱簡字修能、脩能,號畸臣,後改名聞。明代(1368~1644)篆刻家。約活動於萬曆年間(1573~1620)。休寧(今安徽休寧)人。對古印及篆研究深入,不拘泥於時尚;將戰國時期(約476~221 BCE)古璽校訂為先秦時期(221~207 BCE)印章,尤屬創見。
