福慧雙修 楊仲子

「福慧雙修」語出諸佛教典籍，如《宋高僧傳》：「諸修行門，無過念佛、供養三寶。福慧雙修，此之二門最為徑要。」意指學佛修行時，要「福德」與「智慧」二項兼修，不可偏廢一法，如此才能圓滿佛道。
此四字白文印，以田字格形式刻成，章法平穩。印文並未用摹印篆布局，而以金文入印，結構為圓筆，雖錯落有致，但筆畫略細，且刀法亦軟弱，字形漶漫，稍欠精神。
楊仲子名祖錫，亦名揚子，字仲子，別署一粟道人、一粟翁、石冥山人。江蘇南京人。曾留學歐洲，學習化學及音樂。歸國後，除音樂外，還長於文學及篆刻。精於甲骨文、金文，善以金文入印，著名畫家徐悲鴻所用印，大多出自其手。
